I guess you could say that I'm self-represented. I spent a little time in a couple of nice galleries but I never really understood the point of it. Essentially, I was having to increase the price of my work to a place where fewer people could afford it and it would inevitably sit in the gallery for months on end without selling. I decided that the art show circuit made much more sense for me. With a little more effort on my end I'm able to put my work in front of hundreds of thousands of people every year and keep my prices where I think they should be. In the end the only people it doesn't benefit are the gallery owners. I will do gallery shows from time to time simply because I do enjoy the venue but for the most part I'm getting more work out of myself than I could ever hope to get from a gallery.
